01. Design direction - mood board
Every good design starts with capturing what you want the mood to be for your space. After meeting you & collecting your project and design goals, we cultivate a design direction. This not only leads our design, but is referred to throughout the entire project.
02.furnishingS investment estimate
We come to the concept meeting with a Furnishings Investment Estimate (commonly known as the Budget) for the items we think you will need for the space. We work with you & get agreement so we can stay on track.

We shop for you to put together all material selections needed in your design projects. We will discuss quality, sustainability, and aesthetic, making sure everything works together with color, style, and design.
We explore possible layouts for your new room making sure that everything is functional and flows together. We apply different design concepts from the mood board to connect style and function.
We place all orders, follow up & deliver ALL items for the room or project at one time. This allows you to experience the grand reveal and not a partial vision.

HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT OR NEED?
We start with a creative session to learn how we could plan the space better for your needs, to learn your likes and dislikes, and get clear on design goals. From this meeting we go back to our studio to put together a design concept for your project. With a clear direction, we will all know where we are going.

HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE?
The design phase where all the planning and preparing takes place takes is roughly 9-12 weeks depending on your project. The transformation of your space has a lot to do with if we have any construction for the space and furniture lead times. It is important that you see the entire room put together at once and not pieces at a time. This would be a disconnect for the overall vision. So, construction aside, we make sure to have furnishings and accessories delivered and installed all at once.

HOW WILL I KNOW THE COST OF FURNISHINGS?
We will put together a Furnishing’s Investment Estimate for your approval. We find that this gives you an idea of costs and helps us to be on the same page before sourcing items that do not fit the budget. In our concept meeting, we will go over the FIE and tweak any area needed. We will review different levels of costs and get an agreement on the investments. That way, once we are at the presentation meeting, you will know that everything is within the agreed upon investment.

WHEN DO WE PAY FOR FURNITURE?
In Full Service model - all purchasing is done through Monarch Lane. You will owe the entire Furnishings amount (within the agreed budget set at concept meeting) at the Final Presentation meeting.
If you need to pause your project for any reason, that is not a problem!
When you are ready, we will present you with a new timeline based on current projects and put you back into our
Full-Service Rotation.

do you offer a designer discount?
We sell our products as a business. You will never pay more than retail with us. We take care of all the procurement: the estimates, ordering, follow up, storage, shipping, and setting up delivery.

WHAT IF I LIVE OUTSIDE THE NASHVILLE/ METRO AREA, CAN YOU HELP ME?
Yes! We do travel for Design Clients doing 3 Rooms or more.
We can talk through this option in our Discovery Call.
We also offer "Room Recipes" (virtual design) and our online studio gives us the platform to deliver the design to you virtually.
