Reimagining the heart of a home often begins with a clear vision and the right collaboration. For this project, our clients partnered with their architect to thoughtfully rework the interior layout, creating an opportunity to elevate both function and flow. We were brought in to design the Kitchen, Scullery, and Lounge—spaces that would anchor daily living while supporting effortless entertaining.

The kitchen was designed as a balance of warmth and refinement. Light wood cabinetry creates a soft, organic foundation, while layered brass details introduce quiet sophistication. A generous island establishes a natural gathering point, seamlessly connecting prep, dining, and conversation. Rich green tile adds depth and character, grounding the space while subtly tying into adjacent rooms.

When naming this project, we pulled directly from a moment in our client conversations: if the kitchen was the fun sister, the bar needed to be the cool cousin. That idea shaped the adjoining spaces—each with its own personality, yet inherently connected.

The lounge—once a nursery—was transformed into a moody, layered retreat. Wrapped in deep tones with a collected gallery wall, it offers an intimate contrast to the openness of the kitchen. The scullery serves as the hardworking counterpart—a functional “back-of-house” space elevated through soft pink tile, rich cabinetry, and thoughtful detailing.

As the project evolved, we continued into additional rooms, creating a home that feels cohesive, expressive, and deeply personal—designed not just for how it looks, but for how it lives.
