While every project is tailored to what works best for our clients, this one felt like an immediate yes. From our first conversations, there was an ease and trust that allowed us to move confidently into a layered, expressive design—one that fully embraced their love of color, entertaining, and French culture. “Oui, Obviously” became the natural refrain: a playful nod to both their enthusiasm and the effortless way decisions came together.
What began as a series of small, disconnected rooms is now a cohesive first floor designed for gathering, hosting, and everyday ease. The original layout limited flow, so we reimagined the kitchen, breakfast room, living room, dining room, and powder bath to create a seamless connection between spaces. At the center is a reworked kitchen with a generous island—anchoring the home and supporting how they truly live and entertain.
Each adjoining space was thoughtfully furnished to encourage both large gatherings and intimate moments, with multiple areas to sit, connect, and linger. The furnishings reflect a well-traveled, collected perspective—layered yet relaxed, with subtle French influence woven throughout.
Their love of color became a unifying thread. A rich jade-teal green grounds the kitchen and carries into adjacent spaces through the window treatments & jewel toned textiles & upholstery- creating depth and continuity. The powder bath offers a playful pause, wrapped in a bold floral wallpaper that brings charm and personality.
The result is a home that feels both elevated and inviting—proof that when the answer is “yes,” the design follows.
