About this Project

Located in Brentwood, Tn this client's home was built by Kingdom Builders. They are a second generation family-owned home builder that specializes in luxury residences in Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding areas. 
As time goes by, homes beg to be rediscovered and reworked. We worked with Kingdom builders again on this house to help the home owners update it to their liking. Even though they are the original owners, materials become outdated and some times even damaged. For this Master bathroom, we had some tile cracking. When doing a bathroom everything you touch affects the whole room. So we were hired to help reimagine the space. The wing walls that famed the tub were taken down and a new freestanding tub was put in its place. With the walls gone, the shower was opened up and replaced with frameless glass walls. A gorgeous handmade bronze glazed tile was added to the shower as a waterfall feature. It also demands that you see the height of this room while balancing out the deep wood tones of the cabinetry.
We used a creamy marble tile on the floors in matte and walls in polished tile to envelope the room. To mix it up, we created a herringbone pattern on the floors. We added warmth to the room with a heated tile floor system by Schluter and a warming drawer for towels. The cabinetry was custom made to have a pillowed effect on the doors. And on one of the vanities we played with various heights for interest and created a waterfall countertop to the floor. Truly an elegant bathroom!
