We organize the details in our online studio as well as provide an entire spec book for your builder to work from. 01. DESIGN CONCEPT
Every good design starts with capturing what you want the mood to be for your space. After our meeting you & collecting your project and design goals, we cultivate a design direction. This not only leads our design, but is referred to throughout the entire project.
02. KITCHEN & BATH PLANNING AND DESIGN
Your Architect gave you the perfect flow to your dream home and even a starter layout to your Kitchen or Bathrooms. Now it's time to know exactly what the function and design is for these rooms.
03. selections for entire home
We shop with and for you to put together all material selections needed in your Remodeling & Refresh projects. We will discuss quality, sustainability, and aesthetic, making sure everything works together with color, style, and design.
4.detail specs & project book
Each selection and material will go into a Project book for your home. Your contractor and various trades will be able to use this specification book for installation guidance and to build from.
5. lighting plan and package
Lighting will be one of the most important elements of your new home! We will plan out your entire lighting package, layout, and plan.
6. Interior & exterior color palettes
We make sure the color palette works for the style of your home and your aesthetics both inside and out.

New Construction Design & Selections have a lot of moving parts and pieces. There is a lot of work that goes into an entire home and we take care of every detail. The place to begin is set up our complimentary discovery call. We can talk through your project and design goals to get a clear view of your scope. Once we review the plans, we will provide you a flat rate with payment plan so you can know your all in number for design services. Rates start at $8500

Don't have an architect yet?
No problem! We share a studio space and team up with the Architects at Four Square Design Studio to give you a cohesive and complete design team for your new construction project. While we will work off of any plans you already have, this team is top notch with our highest recommendation. We work with Four Square on new construction, commercial design, and Entire Neighborhood builds. If you want the best experience, our collaboration will get you the perfect home, inside and out!

HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT OR NEED?
We start with a creative session to learn how we could plan the space better for your needs, to learn your likes and dislikes, and get clear on design goals. From this meeting we go back to our studio to put together a design concept for your project. With a clear direction, we will all know where we are going.

HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE?
Once you are on our project schedule, The design phase of concept, planning and final . selections takes roughly 20-35 weeks depending on your project size. For new construction, your builder will need to provide the lead time based on codes, inspections, and lead time on labor & material. We know that you are excited to get into your new home. So, we work hard on the front-end planning and preparing for every detail, so the build process can go as seamlessly as possible.

HOW WILL I KNOW the cost of materials?
If you do not have a contractor, We will set up a second visit with one of our trusted builders to get the estimates and costs for your specific project. While we may not know the exact finishes and fixtures at that time, we can get you a ballpark and budget for your project from this meeting. We will source based on this budget.

DO WE HAVE TO GO WITH THE TRADESMAN OR CONTRACTOR YOU HAVE?
No. While we have vetted our builders and have lasting relationships, there is no pressure to work with them. However, we know their quality of work and can stand behind the end result.
If you choose a contractor on your own, we just ask that they be licensed in their field. We also require that they sign our design/construction agreement so that you have your design & construction team working seamlessly together. We love meeting new and talented trades! We just want to make sure they take great care of you and that your project is built to specification.

WHAT IF I LIVE OUTSIDE THE NASHVILLE/ METRO AREA, CAN YOU HELP ME?
Yes, of course!
This type of project has a level of service that can only be met if we are able to be in person. We can travel anywhere in the United States and can provide a project ballpark for design services and travel time.
