Everyone loves a good bar cart! Not only do they help you serve and entertain friends and family, but it can add so much personality to any room. Check out our tips to setting up your bar with style!

Stock the bar with style tip #1- Pick the perfect bar cart or cabinet. The one we have in our studio is called the Wakefield. But here are some of our favorite bar cabinets and carts- in the shop!

Stock the bar with style tip #2 – Choose the spirits you will serve. Select the drinks you want to make available and that you want to display.

Stock the bar with style tip #3- Add decorative trays to coral bottles and group glassware. We love to layer this by putting one tray for the spirits and another tray for glassware (and maybe more spirits)

Stock the bar with style tip #4 – Use pretty decanters to store some of your favorite drinks. Bourbon is one of our office favorites and using a beautiful decanter can really personalize and up-level your cart.

Stock the bar with style tip #5 -Layer in the Drink accessories. The drink accessories could be whatever you need to accompany your spirits. These are items like ice buckets, marble drink coolers, bottle openers, coasters, beverage napkins.

Stock the bar with style tip #6 – Use boxes and small trays to contain bar accessories. Sometimes grouping those beverage tools in a beautiful box is the best way to keep things looking clean and organized.

Stock the bar with style tip #7 – Stack beautiful cocktail books for reference and style. Select books that you not only love the content, but the colors as well. This will add a layer of texture and sophistication. You might even get inspiration for entertaining from your books.

Stock the bar with style tip #8 – For softness and interest add a plant or flowers. You can choose this depending on the space you have left. We love adding plants – they add instant life!

Stock the bar with style tip #9 – Anchor your cart with artwork above. If you have a bar cart, then it will come to about counter height. You will need something above to help define the area. In our studio, we used architectural drawings of the Guggenheim museum and hand paintings from Paris. This fit the vibe of our office, but I could see doing something fun and conversational also. The Toy soldier art below is the perfect mix of color & whimsy.

Below are all the things you need for stock your bar with style! @!Then shop the look below Of course, you will need to add your favorite spirits! 😉

Hope you guys enjoy entertaining your friends and family with your new styled bar!
