This service is for those that want a curated finished design plan but want to do the shopping themselves. We give you the same great design plan, suggested items you can buy, but you can shop, purchase, and put together the room at your own pace. Working Virtually is nothing new for us. We often have clients that are busy professionals and with our Online Design Studio, it doesn’t matter if you are around the corner or around the world. We are able to onboard clients and start collaborating immediately.

01. mood board & DESIGN concept
Every good design starts with capturing what you want the mood to be for your space. After gathering information from your questionnaire, inspiration images, and our virtual design session, we will put together the concept for your space.
02. FLOOR PLAN & FURNISHINGS LAYOUT
We design the perfect layout for your new room, making sure that everything is functional and flows together beautifully.
03. PRODUCT LINKS TO SHOP
04. 3D Renderings
We shop and source all material selections for your room, making sure everything works together with color, style, and design. You can use the clickable links to purchase directly from our online studio, or find similar items on your own. It is completely up to you!
Every design project with Monarch Lane comes with 3D Renderings so you can visualize your finished space!
How Does this Work?
We believe in a very organized approach to pulling your design project together. We want this to be a great experience for you and to serve you well.
Here is the process for our ROOM RECIPE projects.
Step 1: Select the room you want to have designed from our menu below. If you have more than two spaces, talk to us for a bundled package.
Step 2: Purchase the Room Recipe Package for your room.
Once you click on the Room you are working on, read through the details for your project, and purchase to get started.
Step 3: Set up your Design Studio
Once you purchase your Room Recipe package, you will get instant access to our online studio! You will be able to start collaborating right away! You will get instructions, next steps, and a welcome video from us!
Step 5: Follow our Recipe to Build your Design
When we have completed your custom designs, you will get notification that your project is ready for you to view.
Follow Designer tips and practices to get the best outcome of your project.
View the Floor plans and 3D renderings to vision the finished space. Use the mood board and direct links to shop your Design. And then post your after photos to show all your friends and family your beautifully designed space!

Step 4: We Design your Room. Once you purchase your package, you will be able to schedule the discovery phone or zoom chat to go over your project.
Once we have ALL the information we need to begin, our experienced Design team starts working on your project. We start with your space plan, so that you know how everything fits best in your space. Then we select furnishings for you based on your design questionnaire, desires, style, and budget.
You will receive your finished design within 4-6 weeks from our phone or zoom chat.

how will you know what i want or need?
The Design Questionnaire gives us an insight as to what you want. We will also brainstorm in our phone chat about your needs and wants for your project. We also have a place in our design studio for you to upload any inspirational images you have. We are very thorough in finding your design style, color palate and room arrangement.

HOW LONG will this take?
You will receive your finished design within 4-6 weeks from our phone chat. Once you purchase your package, you can schedule the phone or zoom chat.

how do we know the budget for the room?
We will have you select the level of investment through our questionnaire and discuss further in our phone chat.
We want to make sure that all the items we source will fit in your budget. While you will be able to take the design recipe and shop around, we still want to give you real items to work from if you choose.

DO YOU TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION ANY SPECIAL NEEDS OR REQUESTS I MIGHT HAVE?
Yes, just give us the details in your design questionnaire or our phone chat and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

CAN I KEEP SOME OF MY CURRENT FURNISHINGS IN THE DESIGN?
Yes, just let us know any items you want to work in the design and make sure you have given us those measurements with photographs.

I WANT TO CHANGE A FEW THINGS IN MY DESIGN. CAN I DO THAT??
We can always tweak things in the design. Sometimes this takes additional time. Let us know what you would like to change, and we can provide a new proposal for the scope of work and price for those revisions.

how do i purchase the items in the design?
When the design is complete you will have the recipe for the room with Mood Board, color palette, floor plan, renderings, and product with direct links to purchase on your own.
If you like to shop around, no problem! You can take the recipe, measurements, and design concept and details and head to your favorite stores.

IF I’VE CHANGED MY MIND, CAN I GET A REFUND?
Once you receive notice that we have started your project, the design it is non-refundable. You will have everything you need to put your room together.

what if i need additional help?
No worries! We can continue to work up a proposal for the additional help you need. It is our goal for you to love your home. We want you to be happy with the designs. And would love to keep working with you on any additional projects.
